Room to move... room to grow... Room 2 Design!
The recent name change and rebranding of Matrixmedia to Room 2 Design has finally been made official with the launch of our new website and the unveiling of our new logo. For those who already know us and have grown accustomed to our friendly high level of service, the transition should be a minor adjustment, and with a little time, we are sure the name Room 2 will become just as well regarded.
Why the name change, you may ask? Well, we planned to re-structure and incorporate the business in 2009. We felt that the name Matrixmedia did not reflect our business - it was a bit of a mouthful, and people were complaining of RSI after typing our e-mail address. To coincide with the expansion of our services to include more comprehensive website development and management opportunities, we decided a more marketable and contemporary name would serve us better in the years to come.

When creating our new logo we elected to retain the key elements of the Matrixmedia logo of color and type style, and have incorporated the "r2" icon to make our new brand unique. This provides us with the ability to use the r2 element on it's own as a brand identifier, making the new logo much more flexible in terms of its application in various instances.
